The Monty Hall Problem

While we were talking about probability in class, we started talking about the Monty Hall Problem. This probability problem has become famous because it is so counterintuitive. It involves a game show in which the contestant must determine which of three door conceals the grand prize. I do not want to give too much away, so I have included a great video that describes this problem and explains its outcomes. Enjoy!

  1. This is a great post! The video does a great job of explaining all different situations involving the probability of selecting the goat or the car. Even though it is such a simple concept, I still find it quite fascinating!

  2. it is a good blog post.it is a good ex. if pick a goat 1st, and you swap, you win, and there is initially 2/3rd (66%) chance to pick goat. I think we can use this to our real life .
